Our Mission

For the third year, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is sponsoring a summer reading camp from June 26- July 28th to promote Literacy Skills for approximately 35 Elementary Students from Love School and others, who are entering third, fourth, fifth grade or sixth grade. The program is a volunteer-based and connects the students with the community through weekly-themed units and partner reading with adults from the community.

This program is designed to inspire students and parents to read together everyday, to enhance their literacy skills and to celebrate the life of our community. Students are evaluated at the beginning of the program and at the end to measure achievement.

    1. Good Morning……I helped in the children’s reading program this week and would enjoy participating more. Please let me know what days you need help. Blessings, Chuck Ludwig cell # 664-1020

  1. Your children of the book reading camp is a wonderful program. I helped two days this week and really came away with a lot of satisfaction. I would enjoy helping more if there is a need. Cell #664-1020
